When Tony stopped by, I was surprised and happy to hear that they would be there in just a couple days to do the driveway.
The crew showed up first thing in the morning - even though it was raining - and hustled. What a group of hard-working, friendly, efficient guys. From the little bit I saw, you can see the respect they have for each other and for Tony. You must be a great Boss!

Contacted company who responded and came out the next day. Quote received later that day. We agreed upon a design and a price the next evening and Tony said they would be the following morning at 6AM. I didn't know what to think at that point that they were available the next day but its late in the season so I didn't think much of it. The next morning, right on time, Tony and his crew were in my backyard with flashlights ready to go. They did great job that day laying the slab. They came back subsequent days to clean and then seal the slab. They did a great job and you can tell they care about quality. Tony's and his crew are very professional, respectful, and friendly. Completely satisfied and would recommend.

Everything went GREAT!!! We are so happy with the way everything turned out. They started & completed the job exactly when they stated they would and did a beautiful job on our concrete work. They were very responsive to our calls and questions. Our house is on the corner of an entrance to our development. We had so many cars "creeping" by our house as they worked and especially now after the work is done. The owners of the company spent a lot of time with us on our design and we are so pleased with their recommendation of exposed aggregate concrete. Solid Ground Concrete Inc. came highly recommended to us by several friends that had their work done by them- we couldn't be happier with their recommendation and the job they did! We will be needing a new driveway in the next few years and we will be contacting them for it.

I approached Solid Ground Concrete and one other competitor (Dante) for comparison purposes. My neighbor used Dante and both companies came in at just about the same cost. At first I wanted to use Dante, but after several calls and no return calls back, I became concerned. So, I switched course. I am glad it ended up this way because Solid Ground was very professional and you can always speak to someone versus just leaving a message. Tony always answers the phone, even while he's in the field. We booked our job for about 1.5 months in advance since they were backlogged with the wet spring we had this year. However, as the date approached, I received a call the day before from Tony just to confirm. Our patio is a seamless slate pattern and colored with 2 additional accent colors (walnut, charcoal) over the base (sandstone). I took the day off to watch the whole process. They started at 6:30 a.m. and were done by 2:00 p.m. The next day they came back to put in the relief cuts and seal the concrete, and then make sure the siding was clean. If you want a true professional and someone that takes pride in their work, give Solid Ground Concrete a call.

Tony, TJ and the crew did an excellent job on my recently completed backyard stamped concrete patio. They were personal, professional and prompt (starting each day at 6am). Before starting, TJ explained the difficulties he would have with the stairs, and then he executed above expectations -- not only mine, but more importantly, my wife's. Communication before and during my job were proper. Considering how uninterested some Angies List vendors are with their prospects, I was very impressed Solid Ground Concrete from initial email to final payment.

Aside from the anticipated and unavoidable landscape destruction in the immediate vicinity of the concrete, they left absolutely no mess, which was most appreciated.

We had received atleast six estimates from other companies before choosing Solid Ground Concrete. They had the most reasonable price and also used the heaviest concrete and materials for the job. After the driveway set, we had it cut with a diamond patterned. The precision at which the worker used to cut our driveway was surprising and refreshing. At the end of the driveway’s first winter, we had no pitting, cracking or other issues. Still looks as it did on the first day.
