Your Guide to Concrete Solutions

Whether you’re planning a new project or looking to enhance your existing concrete surfaces, we’re here to provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions.

Stamped concrete is preferred over decks and pavers for several reasons. Firstly, it requires minimal maintenance compared to decks and pavers, which need regular care and often incur higher costs. Stamped concrete offers a unique and customizable look with a wide range of design choices and colors. Unlike pavers that can shift and create uneven surfaces due to frost cycles, stamped concrete remains stable. Pavers also tend to accumulate grass and weeds between blocks and may fade over time, issues that are avoided with stamped concrete.

Your stamped concrete can be cleaned with mild dish soap and a hose or just sweep off. It is recommended in the western New York climate that you seal your stamped concrete every year to help control damage from salt and corrosion.

Concrete does crack. Following strict guidelines does reduce or eliminate the chance of this happening. That is why a proper base is placed under your concrete, followed by wire reinforcement, control joints and proper placement techniques.

Caution should always be used on a wet or icy outside surface. Care and the use of an anti-slip sealer in most applications will greatly reduce how slippery the concrete is when it is wet.

Winter should be no problem for your properly placed stamped concrete. You do not want to use salt, which will damage any concrete surface, kitty litter or sand are good alternatives.

Colored concrete offers endless creative options and color choices, allowing you to achieve the perfect look. It can transform a room or patio from plain to spectacular.

Yes, colored concrete can simulate the appearance of brick, flagstone, pavers, or tile, providing a cost-effective alternative to these materials.

Fresh concrete is naturally darker than when fully cured and dry. It may take 7-10 days for the color to lighten as the concrete hardens and dries.

Unfortunately, no. The final color of colored concrete is influenced by various factors, including the cement and sand color, water content, and finishing methods. However, we ensure that our color additives maintain consistency from batch to batch.

Colored concrete is highly durable and compatible with both new and existing concrete surfaces. It withstands weathering and maintains its color over time, adding long-lasting beauty to your space.
